I am passionate about craft. I love clever patterning and intricate details. I love a well-placed stitch. And because these things make me happy, I spend my life honing my skills. My first teacher was my mother, who gave me my first needle and thread, my first pattern, my first knitting needles. I have had many teachers since then, traveling to England to study at the Royal School of Needlework and to Atlanta to study at the Japanese Embroidery Center. And after a decade of sewing, patterning and designing in New York, I still feel the urge to learn, to extend my skills and to expand my knowledge of the crafts of the world.
